3.1. Ownership: All content on this Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and software, is the property of Emfuleni River Lodge & Cafe or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright laws.

Limited License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Website for your personal, non-commercial use, such as making reservations or learning about our services. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the Website or its contents.
3.3. Prohibited Use: You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Website for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.

4. User Conduct
4.1. Lawful Use: You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Website.

You grant Emfuleni River Lodge & Cafe a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in any media. We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms or Wix's Content Guidelines [1].

5. Reservations and Third-Party Services
5.1. Booking System: Our reservation system may be provided by a third-party booking engine integrated with our Wix website. By making a reservation, you agree to the terms and conditions of that third-party provider, in addition to our own Lodge Terms and Conditions.
5.2. Payment Processing: Payments made through our Website are processed by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full credit card details. You agree to the terms and conditions of the respective payment processor.
5.3. Third-Party Links: Our Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Emfuleni River Lodge & Cafe. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
6.1. Website "As Is": The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Emfuleni River Lodge & Cafe makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Website or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Website.
6.2. Accuracy of Information: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not warrant that the information on this Website is complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
6.3. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Emfuleni River Lodge & Cafe and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Website, by you or any person using your account and password; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) content posted on the Website.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in South Africa for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website.

9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Website, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Website.

Lodge Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Emfuleni River Lodge & Cafe (referred to as "the Lodge") and its guests. By making a reservation and/or staying at the Lodge, guests agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Reservations & Bookings

1.1. Confirmation: All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by the Lodge. A booking is only confirmed once a payment has been received and acknowledged by the Lodge.

1.2. Accuracy of Information: Guests are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process is accurate and complete.

Payment

2.1. Full Payment: Full payment for the stay is typically required upon arrival or as otherwise specified in the booking confirmation.

2.2. Accepted Payment Methods: The Lodge accepts EFTs and Cash

Cancellations and Amendments

3.1. Specific cancellation terms may apply to special offers or peak seasons and will be communicated at the time of booking.

3.2. Amendments: Any requests for amendments to a booking must be made in writing and are subject to availability and the Lodge's discretion. Additional charges may apply.

Check-in and Check-out

4.1. Check-in Time: Guests may check in from 15:00 - 20:00 on the day of arrival.

4.2. Check-out Time: Guests must check out by 07:00 - 10:00 on the day of departure.

4.3. Late Check-out: Late check-out may be available when you ask for it and is subject to availability and an additional charge.

Guest Conduct and Responsibilities

5.1. Respectful Conduct: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner, ensuring peace for other guests and staff.

5.2. Damage to Property: Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to Lodge property caused by themselves or their visitors. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest.

5.3. Smoking Policy: The Lodge operates a strict non-smoking policy indoors. Designated smoking areas may be available. A cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in non-designated areas.

5.4. Pets: No pets allowed

5.5. Children: Children of all ages are welcome. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially around the river and other potentially hazardous areas. Prices for cribs and extra beds aren't included in the total price. They'll have to be paid for separately during your stay, and are subject to availability.
